No matter how many reforms come, or schemes walk-in, the fate of Indian women haven’t changed much. Now, another scary incident has taken place in India where a big disclosure has been made in the case of woman officer Ashwini Jaykumar Gore-Bindre who had gone missing under mysterious circumstances 18 months ago in April 2016.
One of the four people arrested in this case has said that Ashwani has been killed by senior inspector Abhay Kurundkar (the main accused). According to the police, Abhay used a power cutter to kill Ashwini.
Mahesh is the friend of the main accused senior inspector Abhay Kurundkar.
Mahesh further said, Abhay, after cutting Ashwini’s body, kept it in his flat in Bhayandar for two days in the fridge.
Next to that, in December the police department arrested a senior official named Abhay Kurundkar. During the investigation procedure, Police came across a video in which the accused police officer was seen beating the missing woman officer.
The API, Ashwini Birde, was last seen in Thane on April 15, leaving her office. Her brother Anand Bidre then lodged a complaint with Kalamboli police station of causing hurt, kidnapping, adultery, and criminal intimidation.
The 37-year-old lived alone as Ashwini Birde and her husband Raju Gore had separated a year before. Raju Gore had learned of her affair with Abhay.
Watch the video:
As per the sources, they had a daughter together. Inspector Abhay Kurundkar was attached with Thane Rural police, while Ashwini Birde as attached to the Human Rights Commission in Navi Mumbai. The two fell in love and Abhay even promised to marry her.
The relationship went sour after Ashwini began pressuring Abhay to marry her which he didn’t want to.
Her family had accused Ashwini of kill*ing and throwing her body in the forest. We expect the cops to wrap this case and punish the guilty in the most brutal manner.
