In a heart touching gesture, a police constable from Mahankali Police Station in Hyderabad won millions of heart after a video of him holding a baby outside an exam centre went viral on social media. The five constables who were deployed at an examination centre worked beyond their call of duties by taking care of a six-month baby while his mother was writing the exam.
In the video that went viral, we can see the police cradling the baby in arms and feeding the baby a bottle of milk. According to the reports, the woman reached at Parsi School in Secunderabad to take the exam and was accompanied by her mother in a bid to take care of her baby for time being. However, the elderly lady had some difficulty in controlling the baby as the latter was crying constantly.
She tried her best to console the crying baby and then came the constables Vara Prasad, Diwakar, Yellaiah, Sudheer and Dinesh to the spot to help the grandmother. “We appreciated our constables for their humane gesture. We have recommended them for rewards which include an appreciation letter,” Mahankali Police Inspector, Varla Jayapal Reddy said.
