Veteran Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir is well known for his healthy participation in campaigning for the army people and standing tight on his attitude at any critical situation. He never hesitates to talk about anything whether it is related to cricket or not. He always wins hearts of people with his activities and the character of giving something to the society. He’s much appreciated for being bold and strong on his opinions.
Gambhir is again in the headlines while supporting the transgender community. We also saw him celebrating Raksha Bandhan with the transgenders Abhina Aher and Simran Shaikh and he posted the same pics on his Twitter handle. While sharing the pics, he had written,
“It’s not about being a man or a woman. It’s about being a HUMAN.” With proud transgenders Abhina Aher and Simran Shaikh and their Rakhi love on my hand. I’ve accepted them as they are. Will you? #respecttransgenders.”

Now, he has gone ahead and done something shocking. Gautam became a part of an annual transgender event Hijra Habba held in Delhi. The event was organized by the Shemari Society.

What’s surprising in the event is Gautam’s attire. He dressed up like a transgender wearing a dupatta and a bindi. The photos have gone viral on the social media and it’s quite a surprise to see him in this avatar.
Now that’s really a big thing to do. What do you think about it?
Earlier in August, reports claimed that the out-of-favor Indian opener has been on BJP’s wish-list for the next election in Delhi, which is being ruled currently by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). According to the reports, BJP is likely to persuade Gambhir in contesting for their party in Delhi, although there has been no such confirmation coming from the cricketer.
