Fisherman receives ‘SUV’ as gift from Mahindra for his heroics during Kerala floods

The people of Kerala had faced the most terrible floods ever that resulted in hundreds of dead and thousands homeless. However, the whole country has extended helping hand and did whatever they can to the people to bring Kerala out of the situation. People from different parts of the country helped Kerala by sending money, food, clothes and whatever they can to CM relief fund.

During the floods, Indian Army and a few NGOs took part in the rescue operation for almost a week. The general public also volunteered them to help the people out of their houses and danger areas. One such incident we saw was a man bending down in water to make way for the flood-ravaged victims to enter the rescue boat.

He positioned himself down such a way that the people found it a bit easier to climb on to the boat before stepping on his back. A real hero is not the one who entertains by performing stunts, fights, dance moves in movies but the one who steps forward to help the people without even caring for his life.

This incident went viral on social media and the man became the most popular figure. He is Jaisal and he became a hero. After seeing Jaisal’s gesture, Mahindra and it’s dealer in Kerala called ‘Eram Motors’ sent best wishes for his heroics and also presented a brand new Mahindra Marazzo car. Kerala Excise and Labor minister TP Ramachandran gave the keys to Jaisal.

Speaking about the situation, Jaisal said that he saw women facing an issue in climbing onto the boat which triggered him to do it. This confirms that he didn’t do it for popularity or some reward but to help the people. Jaisal who won millions of hearts with his touching gesture said that the new Mahindra Marazzo will empower to help more people in the times to come.
